ABOUT ME

I have been happily married to my husband Robert for the last 30 years and have two grown-up sons, Matthew and Daniel aged 27 and 22 respectively.

I am convinced that experiencing birth, becoming a new mother and breastfeeding them both has given me a greater understanding and empathy with new mums and made me a better Midwife. Obviously my continuing experience over the ensuing years has increased my understanding further.

My husband is a great support both at home and encouraging with my business (behind every good midwife is a very tolerant husband!).

I enjoy being at home with my family, gardening, walking my dog in the surrounding countryside, listening to music, retail therapy, theatre outings, eating out and taking holidays by the sea.
